Mercedes Benz SLK is a roadster produced from 1997. The first generation should sign R170, the second generation to bear the designation R171.

SLK 230 Kompressor was introduced in 1997 model to compete with Porsche Boxster and BMW Z3

R171 (2004 -)

Successor model SLK came in 2004.
