The third generation Renault Megane started selling in late 2008. Successor vehicle Mégane sedan became Renault Fluence.

Renault Fluence is a four-door sedan models based on third-generation Mégane, which actually replaced by the version of the Mégane sedan. The company will strive to design the model to distinguish Fleunce Mégane III and issued it as a separate model. It is sold with the 1.6 16V 81 kW/110 hp 1.5 dCi in two power versions, 63 and 78 kW/85 and 105k. Larger engines in the production company does not plan because they would otherwise from a marketing point of view Fluence could endanger sales of more middle-class model, Laguna. In Korea, this model is sold as Samsung SM3.
